Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 2026
At TurHire ("we," "us," or "our"), your privacy is our top priority. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our recruitment platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide better services to all our users—from figuring out basic stuff like your language preferences, to more complex things like matching candidates with the right enterprise jobs. We collect:
- Personal Identification Information: Name, email address, phone number, and physical address when you register for an account.
- Professional Information: Resumes, employment history, skills, educational background, and LinkedIn profiles (for candidates).
- Company Details: Company name, registration details, and hiring requirements (for recruiters and employers).
- Payment Information: We do not store your credit card or bank details. All payment processing is securely handled by our third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe) which adhere to strict PCI-DSS compliance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your TurHire account.
- To facilitate the matching process between recruiters, companies, and candidates.
- To process transactions and send related billing information.
- To send administrative emails, technical notices, updates, and security alerts.
- To analyze platform usage and optimize our artificial intelligence sourcing algorithms.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
TurHire acts as a bridge. Therefore, data sharing is an inherent part of our service:
- Between Users: Candidate profiles are shared with verified recruiters and companies looking to hire. Job requirements are shared with candidates.
- Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform (such as cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, and secure payment processors).
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TurHire, its users, or the public.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption and secure server architecture, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our platform and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies; however, some portions of TurHire may not function properly without them.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can manage most of your data directly through your TurHire Dashboard. If you wish to completely erase your data from our systems, please contact our support team.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
